Introduction
This was the photo that got me started - the only picture I have of my Great Grandfather & Great Grandmother. How different my life is from theirs. 2 children is enough for me I think - I’ll skip the next 12 that they opted for. I think their house was quite small, which makes you realise that we’ve really got it easy. 14 kids in a house smaller than ours, which feels claustrophobic at times with 4 of us in.
I take my hat off to you James Kelly (1st). I couldn’t have done it.
So, please let me know if you can fill in any details, however small, about anyone here. Photos would be nice - most of the ones I have are at least 10 years old. Surnames of spouses and dates of birth are particularly difficult to find. Causes of Death make for interesting reading, and also, it’s nice to put in a few sentences about who the individuals are. Makes them less like just a row of pictures, but helps to create a story of our family that we might be able to keep going for the next three generations.
